Note: Numerical counts say nothing about the importance of Council actions (one important meeting can be weightier than ten minor ones). In comparing Meetings with Consultations, it should be remembered that Meetings are often very short (just long enough to adopt a resolution, for example), while Consultations typically last a considerable time -- 2-3 hours.
