Anti-Globalization Protest:
May Day- May 1, 2002

Protesters Hope for Peaceful May Day (April 19, 2002)

UK Anti-Globalization Activists Plan Secret May Day Gathering (March 25, 2002)
In recent years on May 1st, anti-globalization protests, and a subsequent police presence have filled the streets of London. This year, organizers plan a “fluid, spontaneous” meeting in which demonstrators must at all times remember to “keep moving,” to undermine police tactics that aim to “contain” protestors.
